Strategic partnership: Industrial Digital Twin Association and Open Industry 4.0 Alliance agree on close cooperation
The Industrial Digital Twin Association e.V. (IDTA) and the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance (OI4) have signed a memorandum of understanding for close cooperation. The goal of the cooperation is to further advance digitization in the industry based on the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). Initial cooperation projects show how the two organizations complement each other.

The Digital Twin Consortium® and the Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA) have entered into a liaison agreement to create and develop digital twin enabling technologies. The goal is to accelerate the adoption and monetization of digital twins.

The coalition partners SPD, BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN acknowledged the importance of digitization for climate protection and explicitly addressed the topic of the "Digital Twin" in the section "Sustainability in Digitalization".
