IDTA has published a new bundle of the AAS Specifications, the information model of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), which forms the basis for the standardised Digital Twin in the industry. The most significant innovation is the newly published part of the specification, ‘Part 4: Security’.

IDTA informs about all current news on the Digital Twin based on the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) at the Hannover Messe from 31 March to 4 April 2025. The IDTA stand in hall 9, F27 at the Hannover Messe is the central point of contact for everyone who wants to understand, implement or develop the AAS.

The German user organisation IDTA, which develops standards for Digital Twins for the entire industry, and the association FEDERTEC, which represents companies in the field of fluid power, mechanical power transmission and automation of industrial processes in Italy, have agreed to partner up.
