The German user organisation IDTA, which develops standards for Digital Twins for the entire industry, and the association FEDERTEC, which represents companies in the field of fluid power, mechanical power transmission and automation of industrial processes in Italy, have agreed to partner up.

buildingSMART International (bSI) and Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA) are pleased to announce their intention to cooperate on a not-for-profit basis to promote open digital interoperability within the built environment. This collaboration will focus particularly on the use of the IFC, industrial Digital Twins, and the role of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS).

Digital Data Chain Consortium (DDCC) and Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the ACHEMA trade fair in Frankfurt am Main on 24 August 2022. Dr. Thomas Kuhn from Fraunhofer IESE, as representative of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft for the project "BaSys", signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" ( MoU) with the Industrial Digital Twin Association e.V. (IDTA) at Hannover Messe 2022. The two partners are thus establishing a contractually agreed cooperation for the standardisation of Asset Administration Shells for industry.
