Interaction pattern

Interaction pattern

Typical sequence of messages (primitives or notifications) between interacting entities as a solution to often-posed interaction needs.

Note: Usually, in an interaction pattern the entities follow pre-defined roles (e.g. consumer/provider, publisher/subscriber) and associated constraints (e.g., order and direction of primitives/notifications).
