SPS 2023

IDTA will be represented at the trade fair for the automation industry SPS – Smart Production Solutions from 14th to 16th November 2023 in Nuremberg. In hall 3 at stand 448, we will offer a single point of contact for all topics related to the Asset Administration Shell – as the home of the AAS. At our booth we will inform about standardized information models, the testing platform “AAS Certification Portal” as well as the project Dataspace 4 Everybody.

Two demonstrators at our booth illustrate the application of the Asset Administration Shell:

• Lifecycle Management for Smart Operations (by PTC, SICK, EPLAN and TT-PSC): Automatic condition monitoring, guided part replacement and the update and patch process at shopfloor level
• Sustainability enabled by AAS – PCF on Connectivity+ (by HARTING, SAP and Siemens): Mapping the topic of industrial sustainability and achieving significant improvements in the data flow of complex product development and manufacturing processes while meeting regulatory requirements

Visitors have the opportunity to experience the Digital Twin in action at the SPS. Our guide leads to 28 exhibits, which demonstrate a wide variety of solutions using the AAS.
