The interface to sustainability

Every product emits CO2 in the course of production, which can be specified and determined. To assess the impact in terms of sustainability, the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) is used. The AAS creates a way to automatically exchange and retrieve PCF information along the different stages in the manufacturing and processing of products. This enables the accurate assessment of the PCF of own and purchased products along the entire supply chain.

With the AAS to a calculation of the total PCF

Transparency

The carbon footprint of a product can be standardised and digitally exchanged between partners along the entire value chain with the AAS.

Standards

The AAS standardises the exchange format and the interfaces. A partial model thus enables standardised calculation methods for the PCF.

Availability

All necessary data is available digitally with standardised interfaces and can be retrieved and made available at any time.
