Standardized data management system

Connecting information across organizations

The Korean Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Startups has launched an Asset Administration Shell-based pilot plant project to investigate existing technologies that can contribute to secure data consistency. After testing and validating two pilot plants that acquired AAS standard-based operation data and stored it in the cloud, an AAS-based data acquisition infrastructure was developed. A guideline as well as education program targeted at suppliers and users will lead to the implementation of solutions among SMEs and startups.
